Refunds: how much and how long

How much you get back is set by the airline's rules for your fare. A refundable fare may return most of what you paid; a non-refundable one may only return unused taxes; and some carriers charge a cancellation fee. We'll confirm the exact amount for your booking before you commit.

On timing, once we've processed an approved refund, the money typically reaches your card in roughly 5–10 business days. Some airline refunds take longer to clear — occasionally up to 6–8 weeks — because the airline has to release the funds before your card is credited.

We know waiting isn't fun, so we push refunds through as quickly as we can and keep you posted. Refunds always go back to the original payment method.
